Each year, the Hot August Nights Foundation proudly partners with the Boys & Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows to provide children and teens in need with a special holiday shopping experience at Kohl’s.

Participants are paired one-on-one with a Foundation volunteer or staff member and given the opportunity to shop for meaningful items for themselves or their families. For many of the youth involved, this experience helps ensure the holidays are brighter, more joyful, and filled with moments they might not otherwise have.

This program is about more than shopping—it’s about connection, dignity, and showing young people that their community cares. Through generosity, compassion, and shared time, volunteers help create lasting memories and spread the true spirit of the season.
