MAG Auctions has been a long-time champion of the Hot August Nights Foundation, helping raise over $500,000 for local Reno-Sparks nonprofits through live charity auctions during Hot August Nights.
That generosity powers programs that:
Support children in need
Strengthen local families
Invest directly back into our Northern Nevada community
Every bid makes a difference — and every winning bid leaves a legacy.
A true classic. A one-of-a-kind opportunity.
This year’s Hot August Nights Foundation Auction Car is nothing short of iconic — a 1979 Pontiac Daytona 500 Pace Car Firebird, built to lead the pack and now ready to take center stage during Hot August Nights’ 40th Anniversary celebration.
This Firebird isn’t just inspired by racing — it is racing history.
Only 1,817 of these Daytona 500 Pace Car Trans Ams were ever produced, making this an exceptionally rare and highly collectible example of Pontiac performance heritage.
Under the shaker hood sits the muscle that made the Trans Am legendary:
This is raw, analog American muscle, the kind you feel the moment you turn the key.
